WELCOME TO BELLISSIMA TOY POODLES

I started in poodles in 1978 when I purchased a Miniature Dog as a 9 mth old puppy. His name was Bellanique Jokers Wild. A son of Westpriors Robert E Lee. He was an adorable dog who did well in the ring having won 5 Best in Shows. My daughter and I had Irish Setters before we got Joker and won some groups and in show awards with them.

I moved to Toy Poodles after an illness that prevented me from running. My first Toy was a very small bitch called Angel (Gaystep Summers Angel), a very short backed bitch, black with superb carriage and presence. Angel won a 9 Best in Shows at Championship as well as specialty shows. She was twice Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal Show and was Top Toy for Qld Poodle Club for 2 years. A lot of my current dogs are decended from Angel although she was not a good producer having only 3 puppies from 2 litters. One of them was Ch Bellissima Solo Angel who did a lot of winning for her owner in Brisbane.

My Stud dog of the moment is Ch Sauvage Manpower. A 2½ year old male with super jet black coat. He is already a multiple Best Exhibit in Group winner. He has a Beautiful head and eye and the best carriage I have seen for a long time. I have to thank Stewart and Roger of Sauvage for letting me have this lovely boy.

My dogs have nearly all been tested for PRCD PRA and results are noted with their photos. I hope you enjoy your visit and like seeing my dogs.
